He Is- Nourishing

2 Kings 4:38–44

God used Elisha to demonstrate that he is nourishing. During a famine, God used Elisha to remove the poison from the prophets’ stew. Then, with only twenty loaves of bread, God’s prophet fed one hundred men and had some left over!

God doesn’t just care about our spiritual needs; he cares about our physical needs as well. God can use you to show people that he is nourishing. Give what you have from your pantry, your pocketbook or your possessions, and watch what happens. By meeting others’ physical needs, you tangibly show God’s love to those who hunger.
