He is with You

The Israelites walked across the bottom of the Red Sea between massive walls of water that, for all they knew, might have collapsed on top of them at any moment. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego climbed into a blazing furnace that very well could have incinerated them. We all know the story of Daniel’s night with the lions. And Jonah survived three dark days in the belly of a giant fish. All of these people experienced God’s miraculous protection.

These promises don’t mean that nothing bad will ever happen to you. Instead, God is assuring his people that he is with them through anything they face. The next time you try something out of your comfort zone, remember that God assures you of his presence.
