Divine Strength

“What do you have that you did not receive?” the apostle Paul asks in 1 Corinthians 4:7. The point? God is the source of every good thing in our lives. He is the one who gives us strength. He is the one who daily gives us reasons to rejoice. Draw on that divine strength today—not just for yourself, but so that you can proactively enter the lives of others and offer help. Call upon God to give you joy so that you can bring cheer to the heart of someone who is discouraged.
