And Jesus, going up to Jerusalem, took the twelve disciples apart on the way and said unto them,

As Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the Twelve aside by themselves on the road. He told them,
As Yeshua was going up to Yerushalayim, he took the twelve talmidim aside by themselves and said to them, as they went on their way,
As Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem, he took his twelve disciples aside and told them in private:
And Jesus, going up to Jerusalem, took the twelve disciples with [him] apart in the way, and said to them,
And while going up to Jerusalem, Jesus took aside the twelve disciples privately and said to them on the road,
And Jesus going up to Jerusalem, took the twelve disciples apart, and said to them:
Jesus was going to Jerusalem. His twelve followers were with him. While they were walking, he gathered the followers together and spoke to them privately. He said to them,
Jesus and his disciples were going towards Jerusalem. As they walked along, Jesus took his 12 disciples away from the other people where he could speak to them alone.
As Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside; and on the way he said to them,
And as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside, and on the way he said to them,
And as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside, and on the way he said to them,
While Jesus was going [L up] to Jerusalem [C travelers go “up” to Jerusalem because it is built on a hill and because it is God’s holy city], he took his twelve followers aside privately and [as they walked; L on the way] said to them,
And Jesus went up to Jerusalem, and took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them,
When Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem, he took the twelve apostles aside and said to them privately,
As Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside and spoke to them privately, as they walked along.
While going up to Jerusalem, Jesus took the 12 disciples aside privately and said to them on the way:
Jesus was going to Jerusalem. His 12 followers were with him. While they were on the way, Jesus gathered the followers together and spoke to them privately. He said to them,
When Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside and told them as they were walking along,
Then, as he was about to go up to Jerusalem, Jesus took the twelve disciples aside and spoke to them as they walked along. “Listen, we are now going up to Jerusalem and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and the scribes—and they will condemn him to death. They will hand him over to the heathen to ridicule and flog and crucify. And on the third day he will rise again!”
¶ And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way and said unto them,

As Jesus was on the way to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside
Jesus, now well on the way up to Jerusalem, took the Twelve off to the side of the road and said, “Listen to me carefully. We are on our way up to Jerusalem. When we get there, the Son of Man will be betrayed to the religious leaders and scholars. They will sentence him to death. They will then hand him over to the Romans for mockery and torture and crucifixion. On the third day he will be raised up alive.”
As Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, He took the twelve disciples aside on the road and said to them,

As Jesus was making His way to Jerusalem, He took His twelve disciples aside and once again told them what was about to happen.
