Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? Then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.

“Can the Ethiopian change his skin Or the leopard his spots? Then you also can do good Who are accustomed to evil and even trained to do it.
Can the Ethiopian change his skin or the leopard his spots? Then also can you do good who are accustomed and taught [even trained] to do evil.
Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.
Can the Cushite change his skin, or a leopard his spots? If so, you might be able to do what is good, you who are instructed in evil.
Can a Cushite change his skin or a leopard its spots? Neither can you do good when doing evil comes so naturally.
Can an Ethiopian change his skin? or a leopard its spots? If they can, then you can do good, who are so accustomed to doing evil.
Can you ever change and do what's right? Can people change the color of their skin, or can a leopard remove its spots? If so, then maybe you can change and learn to do right.

If the Ethiopian can change his skin, or the leopard his spots: you may also do well, when you have learned evil.
A black man cannot change the color of his skin, and a leopard cannot change its spots. In the same way, Jerusalem, you cannot change and do good. You always do bad things.
You have done evil things for a long time. So you cannot now start to do good things. Can anyone change the colour of his skin? Can a leopard remove the marks on its body? No! And you cannot change yourselves either.’

Can Ethiopians change the color of their skin or leopards change their spots? Can you do good when you’re taught to do wrong?
Can Ethiopians change their skin, leopards their spots? As easily would you be able to do good, accustomed to evil as you are.

But there is little hope for you ever doing good, you who are so accustomed to doing evil. Can an Ethiopian change the color of his skin? Can a leopard remove its spots?
Can people from Ethiopia change their skin? Can leopards change their spots? It’s the same with you. You have always done what is evil. So how can you do what is good?

Can the Ethiopian change his skin? Or the leopard his spots? So, could you do good, that are accustomed to doing evil?
And still, you will not change. Can the Ethiopian change his skin? Can a leopard change its spots? It seems just as unlikely that you will change your ways and do good, when you are so used to doing evil—it has become such a part of you.
Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? Then may you also do good, who are accustomed to do evil.
If a man of Ethiopia may change his skin (colour), either a leopard may change his diversities, and ye may do well, when ye have learned evil. (Only if a man of Ethiopia can change his skin colour, or if a leopard can change his spots, then can ye still do good, after all the evil that ye have learned.)
Doth a Cushite change his skin? and a leopard his spots? Ye also are able to do good, who are accustomed to do evil.
