Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do.
Neither shall there be for Egypt any work, which head or tail, palm-branch or rush, may do.
There will be no work for Egypt Which head or tail, [high] palm branch or [low] bulrush, may do.
Neither can any work [done singly or by concerted action] accomplish anything for Egypt, whether by head or tail, palm branch or rush [high or low].
Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do.
No head or tail, palm or reed, will be able to do anything for Egypt.
Neither head nor tail, palm branch nor reed will be able to do anything for Egypt.
Nobody in Egypt will find work to do — neither head nor tail, neither [tall] palm frond nor [lowly] reed.
No one in Egypt can do a thing, no matter who they are.
Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail, palm-branch or rush, may do.
And there shall be no work for Egypt, to make head or tail, him that bendeth down, or that holdeth back.
There is nothing the leaders can do. (They are “the heads and the tails.” They are “the tops and the stalks of plants.”)
Nobody in Egypt will be able to do anything. They may be Egypt's head or its tail, a palm branch or a reed. There is nothing that anyone can do.
No head or tail, no palm branch or reed, will accomplish anything for Egypt.
And there will be nothing for Egypt that head or tail, palm branch or reed, may do.
And there will be nothing for Egypt that head or tail, palm branch or reed, may do.
There is nothing Egypt can do; ·no one there can help [L head or tail, palm branch or reed; C no one, high or low, could help Egypt].
Neither shall there be any work in Egypt, which the head may do, nor the tail, the branch nor the rush.
No one—leaders or followers, important or unimportant— can do anything for Egypt.
No one in Egypt, rich or poor, important or unknown, can offer help.
No head or tail, palm or reed, will be able to do anything for Egypt.
There is nothing Egypt can do. No one in Egypt can help.
As a result, there will be nothing for Egypt that head or tail, palm branch or reed, can do.
Neither shall it be of any value unto Egypt, any work which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do.
Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do.
Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do.
There will be no work for Egypt Which its head or tail, its palm branch or bulrush, may do.
And there will be nothing for Egypt to do, head or tail, palm branch or reed.
Egypt cannot be saved by anything or anybody—no one can show her the way.
The princes of Zoan are fools, the advisors of Pharaoh stupid. How could any of you dare tell Pharaoh, “Trust me: I’m wise. I know what’s going on. Why, I’m descended from the old wisdom of Egypt”? There’s not a wise man or woman left in the country. If there were, one of them would tell you what God-of-the-Angel-Armies has in mind for Egypt. As it is, the princes of Zoan are all fools and the princes of Memphis, idiots. The honored pillars of your society have led Egypt into detours and dead ends. God has scrambled their brains, Egypt’s become a falling-down-in-his-own-vomit drunk. Egypt’s hopeless, past helping, a senile, doddering old fool. * * *
Nor shall there be any work for Egypt, which its head or tail, its branch or bulrush, may do.
No one—leaders or followers, important or unimportant— can do anything for Egypt.
Egypt shall accomplish nothing— neither head nor tail, palm branch nor reed, shall accomplish anything.
There will be no work for Egypt Which its head or tail, its palm branch or bulrush, may do.
There will be no work for Egypt Which its head or tail, its palm branch or bulrush, may do.
Neither head nor tail, neither palm branch nor reed, will be able to do anything for Egypt.
There is nothing Egypt can do; no one there can help.
Egypt will not be able to do a thing, head or tail, shoots or stalk.
No one in Egypt can do anything to help them. Its elders and important leaders can’t help them. Its prophets and priests can’t do anything. Those who rule over others can’t help. And those who bow down to them can’t help either.
There is nothing Egypt can do— head or tail, palm branch or reed.
There is nothing Egypt can do – head or tail, palm branch or reed.
Neither will there be any work for Egypt, Which the head or tail, Palm branch or bulrush, may do.
And there will be no work in Egypt and nothing can be done by anyone, its head or tail, its palm branch or river-grass.
There is nothing Egypt can do. All are helpless— the head and the tail, the noble palm branch and the lowly reed.
Neither head nor tail, palm branch nor reed, will be able to do anything for Egypt.
Neither head nor tail, palm branch nor reed, will be able to do anything for Egypt.
Neither head nor tail, palm branch or reed, will be able to do anything for Egypt.
Neither head nor tail, palm branch or reed, will be able to do anything for Egypt.
Neither shall there be any ma’aseh for Mitzrayim, which the head or tail, branch or stalk, may do.
Nor shall there be any work in Egypt which the head may do, or the tail, the branch, or the rush.
And there will be nothing for Egypt which head or tail, palm branch or reed, may do.
And there will be nothing for Egypt which head or tail, palm branch or reed, may do.
There will be no work for Egypt to do, for head or tail, palm branch or rush.
There will be nothing left for Egypt to do. Nobody—no head, no tail, no noble palm, no lowly reed— will be able to help Egypt.
Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which head or tail, palm branch or rush, may do.
And work shall not be to Egypt, that it make an head and tail bowing and refraining. (And there shall not be work in Egypt, not for head nor tail, nor for the palm tree or the bulrush.)
And there is no work to Egypt, That head or tail, branch or reed, may do.
