And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzzah, and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.
And the anger of Jehovah was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.
And the anger of the Lord burned against Uzzah, and God struck him there for his irreverence; and he died there by the ark of God.

The Lord became angry at Uzzah, and God struck him there because of his mistake, and he died there next to God’s chest.
But Adonai’s anger blazed up against ‘Uzah, and God struck him down on the spot for his offense, so that he died there by the ark of God.
The Lord God was very angry with Uzzah for doing this, and he killed Uzzah right there beside the chest.

And the indignation of the Lord was enkindled against Oza, and he struck him for his rashness: and he died there before the ark of God.
But the Lord was angry with Uzzah and killed him for that mistake. Uzzah showed he did not honor God when he touched the Holy Box, so he died there by God’s Holy Box.
The Lord was very angry with Uzzah because he did not respect God's rules. He immediately knocked Uzzah down to the ground. Uzzah died there, beside the Covenant Box.

They placed the Chest of God on a brand-new oxcart and removed it from Abinadab’s house on the hill. Uzzah and Ahio, Abinadab’s sons, were driving the new cart loaded with the Chest of God, Ahio in the lead and Uzzah alongside the Chest. David and the whole company of Israel were in the parade, singing at the top of their lungs and playing mandolins, harps, tambourines, castanets, and cymbals. When they came to the threshing floor of Nacon, the oxen stumbled, so Uzzah reached out and grabbed the Chest of God. God blazed in anger against Uzzah and struck him hard because he had profaned the Chest. Uzzah died on the spot, right alongside the Chest.
The Lord became angry against Uzzah, and God struck him down on the spot for his irreverence. He died there beside the ark of God.
Yahweh became angry with Uzzah, so God killed him there for his lack of respect. He died beside the ark of Elohim.
Then the Lord became angry with Uzzah; God struck him on that spot, and he died there in God’s presence.
And the anger of the Lord burned against Uzzah, and God struck him down there for his irreverence; and he died there by the ark of God.

This aroused the Lord’s anger against Uzzah because of his irreverent act, and he died there beside the Ark of God.

Then the Lord was very angry with Uzzah. That’s because what Uzzah did showed that he didn’t have any respect for the Lord. So God struck him down. He died there beside the ark of God.

The Eternal burned with anger against Uzzah, and the True God struck Uzzah dead on the spot for daring to touch the covenant chest.

And the Lord was wroth by indignation against Uzzah, and smote him on the folly (and struck him down for his foolishness in touching the Ark); and he was dead there beside the ark of God.
