O ye Corinthians, our mouth is opened unto you, and our heart is enlarged.
Our mouth is open unto you, O Corinthians, our heart is enlarged.
We are speaking freely to you, Corinthians [we are keeping nothing back], and our heart is opened wide.
Our mouth is open to you, Corinthians [we are hiding nothing, keeping nothing back], and our heart is expanded wide [for you]!
O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged.
We have spoken openly to you, Corinthians; our heart has been opened wide.

Dear friends in Corinth! We have spoken frankly to you, we have opened our hearts wide.
Friends in Corinth, we are telling the truth when we say there is room in our hearts for you.
Our mouth is opened to you, Corinthians, our heart is expanded.

Oh, our dear friends in Corinth, we are hiding nothing from you and our hearts are absolutely open to you. Any stiffness between us must be on your side, for we assure you there is none on ours. Do reward me (I talk to you as though you were my own children) with the same complete candour!

Dear, dear Corinthians, I can’t tell you how much I long for you to enter this wide-open, spacious life. We didn’t fence you in. The smallness you feel comes from within you. Your lives aren’t small, but you’re living them in a small way. I’m speaking as plainly as I can and with great affection. Open up your lives. Live openly and expansively! * * *
