1 Peter 3:14
But if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye. “And be not afraid of their terror; neither be troubled.”
But even if ye should suffer for righteousness’ sake, blessed are ye: and fear not their fear, neither be troubled;
But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness [though it is not certain that you will], you are still blessed [happy, to be admired and favored by God]. Do not be afraid of their intimidating threats, nor be troubled or disturbed [by their opposition].
But even in case you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, [you are] blessed (happy, to be envied). Do not dread or be afraid of their threats, nor be disturbed [by their opposition].
But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
But even if you should suffer for righteousness, you are blessed. Do not fear them or be intimidated,
But happy are you, even if you suffer because of righteousness! Don’t be terrified or upset by them.
But even if you do suffer for being righteous, you are blessed! Moreover, don’t fear what they fear or be disturbed,
Even if you have to suffer for doing good things, God will bless you. So stop being afraid and don't worry about what people might do.
But if also ye should suffer for righteousness' sake, blessed [are ye]; but be not afraid of their fear, neither be troubled;
But even though you might be suffering for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed ones! But do not fear their fear, nor be disturbed,
But if also you suffer any thing for justice' sake, blessed are ye. And be not afraid of their fear, and be not troubled.
But you may suffer for doing right. If that happens, you have God’s blessing. “Don’t be afraid of the people who make you suffer; don’t be worried.”
But somebody might give you trouble, even when you do what is right. If that happens, God will bless you. So do not be afraid of what people may do to you. Do not worry about it.
But even if you should happen to suffer because of righteousness, you are blessed. Do not be afraid of what they fear, and do not be troubled.
But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled,
But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled,
But even if you suffer for ·doing right [righteousness], you are blessed [Matt. 5:10]. “Don’t be afraid of ·what they fear [or their threats/intimidation]; do not ·dread those things [be disturbed/intimidated; Is. 8:12–13].”
Notwithstanding blessed are ye, if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake. Yea, fear not their fear, neither be troubled.
But even if you suffer for doing what God approves, you are blessed. Don’t be afraid of those who want to harm you. Don’t get upset.
But even if you should suffer for doing what is right, how happy you are! Do not be afraid of anyone, and do not worry.
But even if you should suffer for righteousness, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear or be disturbed,
But you may suffer for doing right. Even if that happens, you are blessed. “Don’t be afraid of the things they fear. Do not dread those things.
But even if you should suffer for doing what is right, you are blessed. “Never be afraid of their threats, and never get upset.
After all, who in the ordinary way is likely to injure you for being enthusiastic for good? And if it should happen that you suffer “for righteousness’ sake”, that is a privilege. You need neither fear their threats nor worry about them; simply concentrate on being completely devoted to Christ in your hearts. Be ready at any time to give a quiet and reverent answer to any man who wants a reason for the hope that you have within you. Make sure that your conscience is perfectly clear, so that if men should speak slanderously of you as rogues they may come to feel ashamed of themselves for libelling your good Christian behaviour.
But also if ye suffer anything for righteousness’ sake, blessed are ye; therefore, be not afraid of their terror neither be troubled,
But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their fear, and do not be troubled,
But even if you might suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not be afraid of their intimidation or be disturbed,
But even if they should, you are to be envied, for God will reward you for it.
If with heart and soul you’re doing good, do you think you can be stopped? Even if you suffer for it, you’re still better off. Don’t give the opposition a second thought. Through thick and thin, keep your hearts at attention, in adoration before Christ, your Master. Be ready to speak up and tell anyone who asks why you’re living the way you are, and always with the utmost courtesy. Keep a clear conscience before God so that when people throw mud at you, none of it will stick. They’ll end up realizing that they’re the ones who need a bath. It’s better to suffer for doing good, if that’s what God wants, than to be punished for doing bad. That’s what Christ did definitively: suffered because of others’ sins, the Righteous One for the unrighteous ones. He went through it all—was put to death and then made alive—to bring us to God.
But even if you suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. “Do not be afraid of their terror, do not be troubled.”
But even if you should suffer because of righteousness, blessed are you. And do not fear · their threats or be troubled,
But even if you suffer for doing what God approves, you are blessed. Don’t be afraid of those who want to harm you. Don’t get upset.
But even if you should suffer because of righteousness, blessed are you. Do not be afraid or terrified with fear of them,
But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be in dread,
But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled,
Yet even if you should suffer for doing what is right, you are thereby blessed. Have no fear of others, and refuse to be intimidated by them.
But even if you suffer for doing right, you are blessed. “Don’t be afraid of what they fear; do not dread those things.” Isaiah 8:12–13
But in fact, if you happen to suffer for doing what is right, you are blessed. But do not be terrified of them or be shaken.
But suppose you do suffer for doing what is right. Even then you will be blessed. Scripture says, “Don’t fear what others say they will do to hurt you. Don’t be afraid.” (Isaiah 8:12)
But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.”
But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. ‘Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.’
But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.”
But even if you suffer for doing what is right, you will be happy. Do not be afraid or troubled by what they may do to make it hard for you.
But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats.
Notwithstanding, happy are you if you suffer for righteousness’ sake. Yea, and fear not, though men seem terrible to you, neither be troubled,
But even if you do suffer for doing what is right, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear, and do not be intimidated,
But even if you do suffer for doing what is right, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear, and do not be intimidated,
But even if you do suffer for doing what is right, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear, and do not be intimidated,
But even if you do suffer for doing what is right, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear, and do not be intimidated,
But if you do suffer because of your righteous behavior, God’s blessing is upon you! “Don’t fear what they fear; don’t be disturbed.”
But if indeed you should suffer tzoros because of Tzidkat Hashem, you are blessed and happy. But do not fear their pachad (terror), neither be troubled.
But if you suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. And “do not fear their terror, nor be troubled.”
But even if you do suffer for righteousness’ sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled,
But even if you do suffer for righteousness’ sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled,
But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. Do not be afraid or worry about their threats.
Even if you should suffer for doing what is right, you will receive a blessing. Don’t let them frighten you. Don’t be intimidated,
But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “Don’t fear what they fear, neither be troubled.”
But even if people trouble you because you do right, God will bless you. Do not be afraid of them. And do not be troubled.
But also if ye suffer any thing for rightwiseness, ye be blessed; but dread ye not the dread of them, that ye be not disturbed.
but if ye also should suffer because of righteousness, happy [are ye]! and of their fear be not afraid, nor be troubled,
