⁶³ But^(A) Jesus kept silent.^(B) The high priest said to him, “I charge you under oath^(C) by the living God: Tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God.”^(D)

⁶⁷ They said,^(A) “If you are the Messiah, tell us.”

But he said to them, “If I do tell you, you will not believe.

¹² Since, then, we have such a hope,^(A) we act with great boldness.
