²⁰ and your strength will be used up for nothing.^(A) Your land will not yield its produce, and the trees of the land will not bear their fruit.

¹⁷ Then the Lord’s anger will burn against you.^(A) He will shut the sky, and there will be no rain;^(B) the land will not yield its produce, and you will perish quickly from the good land^(C) the Lord is giving you.
