¹¹ Then ^(A)they said to Moses, “Is it because there were no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you dealt with us in this way, ^[a]bringing us out of Egypt?

^2 (A)There was no water for the congregation, ^(B)and they assembled against Moses and Aaron.

^3 (A)Then the people argued with Moses and spoke, saying, “^(B)If only we had perished ^(C)when our brothers perished before the Lord!

¹³ Those were called the waters of ^[a](A)Meribah, ^[b]because the sons of Israel argued with the Lord, and He proved Himself holy among them.
