²⁰ Immediately he began proclaiming Jesus in the synagogues: “He is the Son of God.”^(A)

²¹ After they had evangelized that town and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, to Iconium, and to Antioch,^(A)

³ Paul wanted Timothy^[a] to go with him, so he took him and circumcised^(A) him because of the Jews who were in those places, since they all knew that his father was a Greek.

² As usual, Paul went to the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days reasoned with them from the Scriptures,^(A)
