⁹ For the eyes of the Lord roam throughout the earth^(A) to show himself strong for those who are wholeheartedly devoted to him.^(B) You have been foolish in this matter. Therefore, you will have wars from now on.”

¹⁰ For who despises the day of small things?^(A) These seven eyes of the Lord, which scan throughout the whole earth, will rejoice when they see the ceremonial stone^[a] in Zerubbabel’s hand.”^(B)

¹³ No creature is hidden from him, but all things are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom^(A) we must give an account.
