¹⁰ Then David rested with his fathers^(A) and was buried in the city of David.^(B)

²⁹ “Brothers, I can confidently speak to you about the patriarch David: He is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.^(A)

²² After removing him,^(A) He raised up David as their king and testified about him: ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man loyal to Me,^(B)[a] who will carry out all My will.’

²⁷ for I did not shrink back from declaring to you the whole plan of God.^(A)
